Throughout the years, their moms way of fixing green beans has been a favorite of Ken and Cindy’s. There is a little competition between the two to see who can eat the most or who will clean the dish of green beans first! Elinor says she “never cooks them the same way twice.”

2 cans green beans

4-6 slices of bacon

1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

In a skillet, fry bacon until crispy.  Add onion. Remove.  In the grease left by the bacon add the cans of green beans and heat. Pour into serving bowl and crumble bacon slices over the top.
