Kim obtained this recipe from a friend she used to work with, Mary McLaughlin. Mary brought it once to a potluck dinner at work and Kim had to have the recipe. It is so easy, and great to make on short notice for unexpected company. It takes a long time to bake, but served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream it cannot be beat.

In 2010, Kim submitted the Blackberry Dump Cobbler to the University of Georgia’s Taste of Home contest. She was selected to have this dish served to thousands of students at Bolton dining hall for the lunch and dinner service! Victoria mentioned to someone at the dessert counter that the cobbler was her mother’s recipe, and the girl admitted she was about to get her third serving!
