½ package (8 squares) Baker’s Semi-week Chocolate

⅔ cup sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Heat chocolate and milk in saucepan over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat. Blend in salt and vanilla, and nuts if you’re adding them.

Spread in buttered 8×4″ loaf pan and chill until firm. Makes about 18 pieces.
