Brittany’s neighbors, Jim and Deb, introduced her to this recipe. It’s best eaten warm, and is the only pound cake Kim enjoys!

Cake
1 package yellow cake mix
1 6 oz. package chocolate instant pudding
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Frosting (Optional)
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 cup powdered sugar
Combine cake mix, pudding, and sugar and whisk together. Add oil, water, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Bake at 350ยบ F. for 1 hour in a 12 cup bundt pan. Turn the finished cake out onto a cake plate while still slightly warm.
Mix and cook the ingredients together for the frosting until the sugar is dissolved and there are no lumps. Pour the frosting over the cake.
