Mary Frances also published this recipe in her church-sponsored cookbook, Heavenly Kookin from Kentucky. Aunt Lorena made it for us in Birmingham and it’s popularity spread rapidly throughout the rest of the family.

1 box graham crackers

2 boxes instant vanilla pudding

3 cups milk

1 8 oz. carton whipped topping

1 can milk chocolate icing

Butter a 9×13″ pan and line with whole graham crackers. Prepare pudding mix with milk; stir until thick. Fold whipped topping into pudding. Pour half of the mixture over crackers. Put another layer of crackers and cover with remaining mixture. Put another layer of crackers and cover with the chocolate icing. Chill until serving time.
